Looking Ahead

  • June 9 – All-School Walkathon Celebration
We’re looking forward to celebrating the incredible generosity, creativity, and community spirit shown throughout this year’s Walkathon.
  • June 10 – High School Athletics Celebration
We will gather to recognize and celebrate the dedication, growth, achievements, and sportsmanship of our high school student-athletes throughout the year.

We are in the home stretch of our 2026 MRCS Walkathon campaign!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we have raised $54,848.81 toward our $65,000 goal. We are so close to unlocking our final milestone motivators and reaching our fundraising target.

If you’ve been meaning to donate, now is the time! The final day to give is Sunday, June 7.

Every gift, big or small, helps make a difference and brings us one step closer to our goal.

Thank you for your support, encouragement, and generosity throughout this year’s Walkathon. Let’s finish strong, MRCS!

Lost & Found Reminder

Following the excitement of our Walkathon foam party, a number of items were left behind outside. Many of them were quite wet, but they were collected and washed. A big thank you to Ms. Wolfe for helping get everything cleaned up!

If your child is missing an item, please check the Lost & Found this week.

As we approach the end of the school year, we will also be bringing the full Lost & Found collection out into the hallway for the final two weeks of school. We encourage families to take a look, as any unclaimed items will be donated after the school year concludes.

MRCS Summer Sports Camps

We’re excited to once again offer MRCS Summer Sports Camps this summer! These camps provide students with the opportunity to build skills, stay active, grow in confidence, and connect with coaches and peers in a fun, encouraging environment.

Participants do not need to attend MRCS  so invite a friend from the community!

Registration is OPEN.

Information, camp details, and registration link available at: www.mrcs.ca/summer

Last week, our school community came together for the annual MRCS Walkathon, enjoying a day filled with energy, encouragement, and plenty of fun as students walked and celebrated together. Thank you to everyone who supported this year’s fundraiser and helped make the day such a success.

We also want to recognize our High School Girls Beach Volleyball team, who competed at the Christian Schools Tournament at Albion Fairgrounds.
