Milestone Motivators

Our MRCS Walkathon is underway — a meaningful opportunity for students to take part in something bigger than themselves as we raise funds, serve our community, and invest in the future of MRCS together. We’re excited to share some fun incentives as we work toward our fundraising goals: School Milestones
  • $10,000 – Mr. Yuen dyes his hair
  • $20,000 – Gr 2/3 teachers get sprayed with Silly String (2 minutes)
  • $30,000 – Ms. Spyksma does a cold plunge
  • $40,000 – Ms. Callaghan & Ms. Fouad perform a TikTok dance
  • $50,000 – Ms. Sheridan & Mrs. Haynes host a lip sync battle in assembly
  • $60,000 – Ms. Lius & Mr. Ketchum take on a Hot Ones trivia challenge
  • $65,000 – Mr. Flokstra, Mrs. Sowerby & Mr. Vilayil get pied in the face
Individual Student Prizes
Recently, we had the joy of watching our Grade 9 and Kindergarten students learn together through a special “passport” experience, where our older students led their younger buddies on a journey through the many corners of the world God has created — a beautiful picture of mentorship, wonder, and the diversity of His creation. We also celebrated our students who participated in the Speech Competition, demonstrating confidence, courage, and strong communication skills as they shared their ideas with others.
