Traffic & Safety Reminder
As we continue working with the City of Maple Ridge to improve traffic flow and safety around the school, please be mindful of the following:
- Use extra caution when turning left onto 203rd Street. Please watch carefully for oncoming traffic.
- Community driveways are private property. There is no parking in these areas — even for quick drop-offs or pick-ups. Our neighbours rely on clear access to come and go.
Thank you for helping keep our students, staff, and surrounding community safe through patience, courtesy, and attention during peak traffic times.
Town Hall Reminder – February 5
As previously shared, the MRCS Board of Directors will be hosting a guided Town Hall on February 5 for Parent Society members.
In preparation, a short video recap has been shared with families. This video brings together key elements from earlier communications and is intended to provide a common frame of reference ahead of the Town Hall, including:
- MRCS’s foundational biblical beliefs
- Duty of care and legal responsibilities
- The role of policy, guidelines, and curriculum
- The distinction between position and posture
- An overview of the principles guiding the draft policy
The Board will be sharing a draft policy prior to the Town Hall, and this recap is meant to support thoughtful reflection and prayer as we prepare for that conversation together.
We recognize these topics can feel weighty and personal, and we are grateful for the care, engagement, and trust of our community as we continue this work.

MRCS Clothing Store Restocked
Our MRCS clothing store has been freshly restocked with sizes and styles available for students and families. If you’ve been waiting to order spirit wear or essentials, now is a great time to check it out

Last week, our Grades 4-8 students showcased their courage and preparation at the Spelling Bee, while our Grade 5-12 students explored future pathways at the WorkBC Find Your Fit event. Two great examples of learning in action at MRCS!
