1. Grandfriends Day
Grandfriends Day is this Friday, starting at 9:00 AM. There will be refreshments, chapel featuring grades K-7, followed by classroom visits for grades K-5 only
Parents are welcome to attend, but we ask that you keep the parking lot clear for our grandfriends and only claim chairs in the gym once they have been seated.
We’d love a few volunteers who wouldn’t mind helping out with the refreshments before, during and after the event. Please email Alyson if you can help that morning.
2. Kindness Starts Here Day
Kindness Starts Here Day / Pink Shirt Day is coming up on Wednesday, February 28. Your child is welcome to wear a pink shirt as we look at and discuss how we can care for each other as human beings created in the image of God.
3. SCSBC Leadership Review
Reminder to complete your parent survey for our SCSBC Leadership Review – deadline has been extended to this Thursday at 3:00 PM! We appreciate your feedback.
4. New Family Applications
Word of mouth is the #1 reason new families apply to our school! We currently have space in grades 1, 2, 11, and 12, as well as very limited space in kindergarten and grades 3, 4, and 9. Let’s spread the word and fill these classes for the 2024/25 year. You can direct any interested families to start the process by filling out this admissions intake form.
Any current family or staff who makes a referral that results in a submitted application form from a new family, will receive a $25 thank you gift card!
5. MRCS is hiring!
Spread the word — we have a few employment openings for next school year and we’d love your referrals.
