It’s the last week of school before Christmas and there is a lot going on – We are praying the advent themes of HOPE, PEACE, JOY, & LOVE for our community, as we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Saviour Jesus.
1. December 19 – Alternative schedules due to construction
Reminder that tomorrow is our Christmas Day Camp for Grades K-3 at Burnett Church. See the December 13 (K-3 only) communications for all the details.
Grades 4-8 will be on campus as usual.
Grades 9-12 will be learning at home.
Please see the Nov 29 communication for all the details, and praise God for this next big step in our construction project – tune in to social media to see updated photos!
2. Christmas Concert Details
Please refer to the December 7 app message for all the details about this year’s Christmas Concert “Joy To The World.” 
We still need one more parent volunteer to help us in the parking lot for the evening performance – comes with 2 reserved seats! Click this link to grab the last spot.
All guests are invited to bring food bank donations to the concert as well.
3. Pajama Day
All Students in K-12 are welcome to wear pajamas on the last day of school, December 22!
4. Salvation Army Emergency Food Hamper Fill Up
We’re at 1000 items / dollars! It’s the last week to get those donations in, so we can meet our goal of 1300 items / dollars and give the principals pies to the face on Friday.
Reminder of items they need most: microwave meals, soups, stews, cooking oil, peanut butter, rice, pasta & sauce, diapers, wipes, formula, gently used winter items for children, teens and adults.
5. Re-registration
Re-registration is automatic again this year, so if your child/ren are not returning next year, please email Mrs. Cramer .
$100 re-registration fee is due for any family that would like to hold their spot for next year. Please note, this is a per family fee – not per student. The fee can be paid by cash, cheque, debit at the office or e-transfer to . Payment is due by January 19.
For students in the International Program, please look for an email sent recently by Ms. Maki with directions on how to re-register.
6. Lost and Found
The lost and found is all set up in the hallway by the library. Please check for your items as we will be donating all leftover items during Christmas break!
7. Hot Lunch
Pizza Hut hot lunch is on Thursday! Big thanks to Anglo Glass for their sponsorship.

8. Year End Giving
As we approach the end of 2023, please prayerfully consider Maple Ridge Christian School if you are making year end donations. We are grateful for each and every person who has donated towards our new school building so far! This time next year we will be getting ready to move in, Lord willing!
