Remote Learning, Re-Registration, and Food Hampers

1. December 19: Remote learning for Grades K-3 and 9-12

Please see the November 29 communication regarding alternative learning on Tuesday, December 19, due to the construction project. K-3 will be meeting at Burnett Church, Grades 4-8 will be on campus as usual, and Grades 9-12 will be learning at home.

** Request for yarn donations **

One of the crafts for the K-3 Christmas day camp requires yarn. If you have any lying around at home that you don’t need or if you feel like purchasing a few to donate, please bring them to the front office by this Wednesday, December 13 at 3:00 PM – thank you!

2. Salvation Army Emergency Food Hamper Fill Up

We counted and delivered the first load on Friday and we’re at 500 items donated of our 1300 goal!  The staff at the Salvation Army were so grateful and wanted to reiterate how much this helps, as the need for emergency hampers has been so high this year – so thank you for your help with this!

Reminder of items they need most: microwave meals, soups, stews, cooking oil, peanut butter, rice, pasta & sauce, diapers, wipes, formula, gently used winter items for children, teens and adults.

We’ll be collecting items and money up until December 21, with hopes to give celebratory pies to the face to our principal team on December 22!

3. Re-registration

Reminder that re-registration is automatic again this year, so if your child/ren are not returning next year, please email Mrs. Cramer .

$100 re-registration fee is due for any family that would like to hold their spot for next year. Please note, this is a per family fee – not per student. The fee can be paid by cash, cheque, debit at the office or e-transfer to
