Here is what’s happening at MRCS for the week of October 21.
1. Coffee and Connect
Tomorrow, October 22, from 8:25-9:00 AM, MRCS will be hosting a coffee and connect event for parents whose children are currently enrolled with us.
Come join us for a fresh cup of coffee and connect with current parents! This will take place in the courtyard by the portables. We look forward to seeing you there!
2. Krispy Kreme Fundraiser
Mark your calendars! On Wednesday, October 30, the Senior Girls volleyball team will be hosting a Krispy Kreme fundraiser outside the front doors of the school.
Original glazed donuts are $2 for one or $20 for a dozen. If you want to pre-order, please contact Karen Bowering to order via e-transfer and pick up on October 30.
Please note that individual donuts are not available for pre-order.
3. Christmas Market
Tis the season! On Thursday, December 5, MRCS will be hosting a Christmas Market in the gym. Every student will have the chance to come and shop for their immediate families, with all items at $2. Our events team will assist with gift wrapping.
We would like to ask for your help with donations! Starting this week, a bin will be placed at the entrance of the school for donation collection, and parent leaders will ask class families to purge their houses.
Any new and like new items are welcome, including wrapping paper, games, craft items, sealed food, picture frames, toys, books, candles, etc. This bin will be emptied regularly to ensure it doesn’t overflow or impede foyer activities.
Please note that any unsold items will be donated after the event. All funds raised will go to the Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows Christmas Hamper society to continue the theme of giving.

4. Hot Lunch
This week’s hot lunch is Boston Pizza on Thursday, October 24.

Make sure to place orders for fall hot lunches on Munch a Lunch and purchase altogether or week by week.

5. AGM & Town Hall
The MRCS Board of Directors invites you to attend the Annual General Meeting to be held on Wednesday, October 30 at 7:00PM in the gym. The AGM package will be sent out later this week.
After the AGM, the Board invites you to stay for a Town Hall session with a time of roundtable discussion on strategic planning and visioning for the school.
