1. Kindness Starts Here Day
Kindness Starts Here Day / Pink Shirt Day is this Wednesday, February 28. Your child is welcome to wear a pink shirt as we look at and discuss how we can care for each other as human beings created in the image of God.
2. Concession
We are hosting a Gr 6/7 girls floor hockey tournament tomorrow and there will be a concession in the hallway as part of that, so bring your loonies and toonies. The concession will be open for Grades 3-12 and we ask that if you or an older sibling is purchasing something for a K-2 student, please wait until after school to give it to them.
3. Hot Lunch
Our next hot lunch is Thursday, February 29, sponsored by Pad Thai Restaurant and Thai Coco Restaurant.

4. New Family Applications
Word of mouth is the #1 reason new families apply to our school! We currently have space in grades 1, 2, 11, and 12, as well as very limited space in kindergarten and grades 3, 4, and 9. Let’s spread the word and fill these classes for the 2024/25 year. You can direct any interested families to start the process by filling out this admissions intake form.
Any current family or staff who makes a referral that results in a submitted application form from a new family, will receive a $25 thank you gift card!
5. MRCS is hiring!
Spread the word — we have a few employment openings for next school year and we’d love your referrals.

7. Purdy’s Chocolates Fundraiser for Grads
The deadline to order Purdy’s chocolates, in support of our grads, is this Saturday, March 2. All orders will be delivered to the school before Spring Break.
