1. No School This Friday
There is no school this Friday, February 16 as our teachers will be participating in professional development.
Also there is no school Monday, February 19, as it is Family Day!
2. SCSBC Leadership Review
All parents should have received a survey link last Thursday on the app. The MRCS Board and Leadership Team have asked SCSBC to assist us in conducting a leadership review and the parent survey is a big part of that. Please take the time to fill out the survey and thanks in advance for helping us develop our leadership team.
3. New Family Applications
Word of mouth is the #1 reason new families apply to our school! We currently have space in grades 1, 2, 3, 9, 11, and 12, as well as very limited space in kindergarten, grade 4 and grade 8. Let’s spread the word and fill these classes for the 2024/25 year. You can direct any interested families to start the process by filling out this admissions intake form.
Any current family or staff who makes a referral that results in a submitted application form, will receive a $25 thank you gift card!
4. Grandfriends Day
Grandfriends Day is coming up on Friday, February 23rd. There will be refreshments, chapel featuring grades K-7, followed by classroom visits for grades K-5 only. Invitations were sent home with the K-5 students, and there is a Facebook event page you can share with your loved ones as well.
We’d love a few volunteers who wouldn’t mind helping out with the refreshments before, during and after the event. Please email Alyson if you can help that morning.
