1. Congrats to our Ultimate Team
Congrats to our senior Ultimate Team for a great weekend at Provincials in Kamloops this past weekend. The team played great and finished in 9th place, which is the consolation bracket champion! Go Hornets Go!
2. Athletics Awards Night
All high school athletes, coaches, and parents are invited to join us for an Athletics Awards Night on Monday, June 10 at 6:30 PM in the gym.
3. Spring General Meeting
Make plans to join us at the school on Wednesday, May 29 at 7:00 PM for our Spring General Meeting in the gym (note the location change). The SGM packet was emailed out on May 22.
4. K-Gr. 5 Early Dismissal 2:15 PM Thursday, May 30
Due to the high level of student participation and the early start times of the Maple Ridge District K-3 Cross Country races on May 30, we will have early dismissal for ALL students in K-5 only on that day. All K-5 students will be dismissed at 2:15 PM.
5. Hot Lunch
Our next hot lunch is June 6, sponsored by Payless Tire & Auto Repair, and we will be enjoying hot dogs and TCBY frozen yogurt. The order deadline is this Thursday, May 30 at 11:59PM.
There is only one hot lunch left after this one and it is for Subway – scheduled for Thursday, June 20, with orders due by Thursday, June 13 at 11:59 PM. Reminder, that this hot lunch date was added after the other ones, so you may not have ordered for this one yet.
If you have a munchalunch credit left over on your account at the end of this year, you should have received an email on Friday to see if you would like to donate the remainder or be issued a refund.

Sunday, June 2 at 1:05PM Vancouver Canadians vs the Tri-City Dust Devils at Nat Bailey Stadium for Family Fun Sunday (kids can run the bases after the game!) Reminder, that MRCS gets $5 from each ticket sold.

A reminder that we offer thank you gift cards for any referrals that result in a submitted application for new families. We currently have space in grades 1, 2, 11, & 12, as well as very limited space in kindergarten and grade 9. Let’s spread the word and fill these classes for the 2024-25 year. You can direct any interested families to start the process by filling out this admissions intake form.
