Loving our Neighbour, Fred

Fred, our school neighbour, has been a fixture on our block for several years and has some health challenges recently. Some of our high school students decided to spread some spring cheer and help Fred with some projects in his garden and yard. Fred sure appreciated having neighbourly labourers.

Serving at Fraser Valley Gleaners

Over the past month the Grade 9s, 10s, and 11s all made trips out to the Fraser Valley Gleaners to help in their ministry of processing donated produce into dried soup mixes and snacks for developing countries.  Thank you Gleaners for all you do and for allowing our classes to be community-servers!

High School Team at Esperanza Ministries

For decades, Maple Ridge Christian School has been sending a team of high school volunteers and adult chaperones to Esperanza Ministries located in a remote area of Vancouver Island. During the week of serving, students and staff help prepare the ministry for their busy summer camp season by chopping wood, painting cabins, and other maintenance around the property.
