Important Reminder: E-Scooter Safety & Legal Requirements

Dear Parents/Guardians and Students, We have noticed an increase in e-scooter use among our high school students. While we support independent and responsible transportation, we want to ensure everyone is aware of the legal requirements and safety expectations. Helmet use is mandatory under BC law for all riders. Students must review and follow local regulations for operating e-scooters on Maple Ridge roadways. We’re part of the Return-It program, and many families have been generously donating their bottle return refunds to the school.
