3. Walk-A-Thon
MRCS is excited to be hosting a Walk-A-Thon event on Friday, May 30 between 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM. We will be using the fundraising platform Raisely to keep track of donations received. If you haven’t yet provided consent (check your emails!) to allow our development team to set up your fundraising page, please do so as soon as possible. Please also return the volunteer form to your child’s teacher if you wish to volunteer for this event.
Our goal is to raise $50,000, with 90% of funds being directed towards our third floor building project. 10% will go towards the Friends in Need Food Bank. Our goal for each student is to raise $150.
The Walkathon will be 5 KM, with Kindergarteners walking just under 2 KM. Stations will be set out along the route.
Stay tuned for information throughout the month of May as we lead up to the Walkathon!
