Dear Families,
1. Walk-A-Thon
Thanks to your generosity, we are so excited to announce that we have reached our goal of $50,000! This means, we have officially reached our final Milestone Motivator, and our high school teachers Mr. Lafleur, Mr. Ketchum, and Mr. Coates will be drinking a gross smoothie at the end of school assembly in June! High school students who have participated in the Walkathon fundraising will be entered into a draw to choose some of these gross ingredients!
Thanks to the overwhelming support by our community, we would like to pose an additional Milestone Motivator challenge to be unlocked at $60,000. Should we reach this goal, we want to celebrate every student by giving them an ice cream day on the last day of school. The fundraising website will remain open for donations until Sunday, June 8 to see if we can hit this goal. Any donations raised until June 8 will be considered for all prizes — so keep going!
We have arrived! MRCS Walk-A-Thon event is this Friday, May 30 between 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM. Please read the newsletter that was sent home today or the app post regarding details of the day.
