1. Grand Opening – Building Expansion
This Saturday, June 14, we are excited to invite you and your family to the opening of our building expansion. This event is from 3:00 – 5:00 PM, with doors opening at 2:30 PM. This will be a community wide event, and a chance to celebrate what God has done for our school community. We look forward to seeing you there!

2. Walk-A-Thon + Feedback Form
The Raisely fundraising page for the MRCS Walkathon is now officially closed. Thank you for all the support over the last month for this event! The Walkathon exceeded our expectations, and our community’s generosity is unbelievable. The love and peace of God was felt across the whole school, and we are thankful for the beautiful day.
Together we have raised over $67,000 for our third floor initiative and Friends in Need Food Bank! The students will be given an ice cream treat on the last day of school (Friday, June 20, 2025). Well earned!

3. Hot Lunch
The last hot lunch of the school year is Subway this Thursday, June 12, 2025.

4. Congratulations, Class of 2025!
Congratulations to this year’s Class of 2025. It was a blessing having you as part of our school community and being role models for the younger students. As you start the next stage of your life, we pray that you will continue to feel the presence of God and live a Christ-centered life. You will always be part of the MRCS community!

5. Applications still Open for the 2025/2026 School Year
MRCS is still accepting applications from Kindergarten to Grade 12 for the 2025/2026 school year. We are looking to double-track Kindergarten to Grade 8, and we appreciate your support in helping us to spread the word to your communities! As a reminder, the $200 referral program is in place until December.

6. Library Used Book Sale
The library will be having a used book sale for students tomorrow, Tuesday, June 10 and Wednesday, June 11. The books available for purchase will be elementary non-fiction. Students K-5 will have the opportunity to visit the book sale with their class, and purchase up to 2 books with books being $1 each. Please send loonies ($1) or toonies ($2) with your child on these days to make things easier for library staff.
