3. Anastasia – The Musical

The Maple Ridge Christian School Drama Department is proud to present this year’s play – Anastasia. Based on the book by Terrence McNally, Anastasia tells the tale of Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia who may have escaped the execution of her family. Years later, an amnesiac orphan of similar appearance teams up with two con-men in order to uncover the secrets of her past.

Tickets for Anastasia can be purchased at Theatre in the Country website with shows through March 5-8.

4. Student Led Conferences (SLC)

On Thursday, March 6 from 8:30AM – 8:00PM,  students K-8 ONLY will lead Student-Led Conferences (SLCs). SLCs are a communication tool that gives you insight into your child’s learning progress through your child’s point of view. Students will share their learning progress and identify evidence of growth. It will be attended by the student, parent/guardian, and the teacher. While SLC is led by the student, the teacher will facilitate the meeting.

Please note that this is not a parent/teacher meeting, and the focus will be on the student and the parent/guardian. Should you wish to speak with the teacher, we ask that you send a separate email to coordinate a different time for discussion.

Sign up forms to book times and to sign up for childcare will be sent in another message to Kindergarten – Grade 8 in the MRCS app.
