Volunteer Sign-Up Reminder

Thank you to the families who have already signed up to volunteer at one of our school community events this year. If you haven’t had a chance yet, please take a moment to complete the form by Friday, September 12. Your support helps make these events possible and strengthens our school community.

This Week

Here’s what you can expect this week:

  • Wednesday, Sept 10 – HS Camp Begins!
    Our high school students are heading out to Camp Stillwood. Please keep them in your prayers as they enjoy this time of connection, learning, and fun.
  • Thursday, Sept 11 – HS Camp Continues
    Students will return to MRCS by 3:30 PM. Parents, please plan your pick-up accordingly.
  • Friday, Sept 12 – Late Start
    High School students will begin the day at 9:30 AM.

Sept 15 – New Parent Orientation (6:30 PM)

Sept 15 – Deadline for HS Semester-Based Course Changes

Sept 18 – Student Photos

Sept 19 – Deadline for HS Linear-Based Course Changes

Sept 23 – Terry Fox Run

Sept 25 – Hot lunch (order by Sept 19)

Sept 29 – School-wide observation of Orange Shirt Day

Sept 30 – No School (National Day for Truth and Reconciliation)

Additional Notes

Classroom Coffee & Connect

This year we would like to give each classroom the opportunity to host their own class specific Coffee and Connect to provide an opportunity for parents in the same class to gather and connect. We are suggesting that one or a few parents get together to “host” this event. This can be done in your home, at a coffee shop, etc! Each class will be provided a $50 gift card to support the event. If you are interested in hosting this for your child’s class, please email Jessica at and she will arrange for you to pick up your gift card and give you the contact information for your classroom families.

Parking Reminder

Until our next auction, the “Reserved for Auction Winners” parking spots are available for anyone to use.

We’re excited for all that’s ahead this fall and look forward to sharing these moments with you and your family!
