1. Hot Lunch
Reminder that our first hot lunch date is Thursday, September 21 and the deadline for ordering is this Sunday, September 17 at 6:00 PM. All proceeds will go towards the building project. Please see the Tue, Sept 12 app message if you are having problems with ordering, or reach out to Alyson
2. MRCS Clothing Store
The MRCS Clothing Store is closing for orders on TONIGHT Friday, September 15 at 11:59 PM. The code to enter the store is MRCS23.
If you are ordering adult size clothing for children 14 and under and would like the PST exemption, please email and they will send you a form.
3. School Photos
Wednesday, September 20 is PHOTO DAY! We will be doing individual AND class photos on the same day this year. All ordering will be done online, so there are no forms to fill out at this time. Say cheese!
4. New Parent Orientation
There will be a meeting for parents of new families on Wednesday, September 27 at 7:00 PM in the Library Learning Commons. If you are new here, please make plans to join us that evening!
5. Bottle Return Fundraiser
We have a fundraising bottle return program underway that has already raised almost $4000! Here are the steps:
- bring your returnables in a clear bag to any Return-It Express depot
- enter the school phone number (604-465-4442) at the kiosk,
- stick the label on the bag
- leave it at the indicated drop-off area

6. Annual Field Trip Permission Form
Stop the bus! Your child does not want to be left behind, so make sure s/he can go on this year’s class field trips by submitting this form as soon as possible.
