Have you been curious about what happens in your child’s classroom? Have you been wanting to get plugged in with the school community and other parents? Here’s your chance!
Currently, MRCS is looking for Parent Leaders to help out in the following classrooms:
Elementary School:
Kindergarten – Miss. Lozinski
Kindergarten – Mrs. Lozinski
Grade 1 – Mrs. Fouad
Grade 2 – Mrs. Born
Grade 2 – Ms. Yan
Grade 3 – Mrs. Newbigging
Grade 3 – Ms. Sheridan
Grade 4 – Mr. Vos
Middle School:
Grade 6/7 – Ms. Lius
Grade 6/7 – Mr. Unger
Grade 8 – Ms. Brown
High School:
Grades 9 – 12 (3 parent volunteers needed)
This year, we wanted to simplify the role of parent leaders so even working parents can volunteer. Examples of some duties are:
- Organizing joint birthday, Christmas, and year-end class gifts from parents to teachers and EAs.
- Coordinate between parents and staff for various school events (i.e. fundraisers, socials, etc.)
