1. School Photos
This Wednesday, September 20 is PHOTO DAY! We will be doing individual AND class photos on the same day this year. All ordering will be done online, so there are no forms to fill out at this time. Say cheese!
2. Terry Fox Run
The Terry Fox Run will be on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. The Elementary and Middle School Run will be from 8:45-9:15 AM. The High School Run will be from 9:35-10:00 AM. Parents are welcome. Please send a toonie with your child that day to support the work of the Terry Fox Foundation.
3. New Parent Orientation
There will be a meeting for parents of new families on Wednesday, September 27 at 7:00 PM in the Library Learning Commons. If you are new here, please make plans to join us that evening!
4. Hot Lunch Thursday
If you ordered hot lunch for your children, this is your reminder to not pack lunch on Thursday, September 21!
5. Orange Shirt Day / Truth and Reconciliation
It’s Orange Shirt Day at MRCS next Friday (September 29)! Students who would like to participate are encouraged to wear an orange shirt as we lament the residential school experience, to witness and honour the healing journey of the survivors and their families, and to support the ongoing process of reconciliation.
Please note: There is no school on Monday, October 2 in honour of National Day for Truth & Reconciliation, which falls on Saturday, September 30 this year.
