1. Costumes / Dressing Up
Please note that due to varying beliefs and opinions about Halloween, we don’t dress in costumes or do Halloween parades here at MRCS. We hope you have an enjoyable evening tomorrow, however you choose to spend it and we would encourage you to connect with your neighbours as they are out and about. 
 
2. The Card Project
Reminder that orders are open right now! The Card Project turns children’s art into a variety of professionally made products that make great gifts! Visit this link and use code MR57 to be able to select and view your child’s art.
 
Priority order deadline is this Sunday, November 5 (delivery to school November 20-24).
 
Final order deadline is Sunday, November 19 (delivery to school December 4-8).
 
3. Annual General Meeting
Fall Annual General Meeting will be held next week Wednesday, November 8 at 7:00 PM in the Library Learning Commons. Please see the Notice of Annual General Meeting sent on October 27 for the AGM Package and Financial Statements. 
 
4. Safer Schools Together Family Sessions
Thank you to all those who attended our Safer Schools Together Parent Workshop last week. Safer Schools Together is offering a few more general family sessions online, so please download the information to view and to sign up.
 
5. Hot Lunch 
Boston Pizza hot lunch is this Thursday, Nov 2. The deadline to order has passed.

6. Prayer Walk
Come join the prayer team on their monthly prayer walk around the school and neighbourhood on Wednesday, Nov 1 from 8:30-9:00AM. Meet in the courtyard!
 
7. MRCS Parent Survey
The deadline to fill out the MRCS Parent Survey and be entered to win a Save-On Foods gift card is tomorrow – October 31.
 
8. Important Dates Next Week
Remembrance Day Chapels are on Wednesday, November 8. Parents and MRCS community members are welcome to join us as we honour those who fought for our freedom.
