As we head into our final week before Christmas break, here are the key events and activities happening at MRCS:

Tuesday, December 16

  • HS ELL visit to Lena Shaw Elementary (9:50 AM–12:20 PM)
  • Middle School Exploratories (12:20–3:00 PM)

Wednesday, December 17

  • Elementary Christmas Rehearsal (ES Gym)
  • Junior Boys Basketball vs GAD at MRCS (3:30 PM)

Thursday, December 18

  • Elementary Christmas Concert (K–5)
    – 1:30–3:00 PM
    – 6:30–8:00 PM

Friday, December 19 – Early Dismissal (11:30 AM)

  • MS/HS Christmas Chapel (8:35–9:30 AM)
  • ES Christmas Chapel (10:45–11:15 AM)

As we close out 2025, we’re grateful for the many moments of learning, celebration, and community that have marked this Advent season. Thank you for partnering with us as we prepare to celebrate Christ’s birth together.

Christmas Concert – Elementary School (Tickets Still Available!)

Tickets are still available for the Elementary School Christmas Concert on Thursday, December 18 at 1:30 PM and 6:30 PM.
Tickets are free and are used only to help us plan seating and ensure an accurate headcount.

Student Council Christmas Spirit Week (Dress up) 

Spirit week (December 15-19) is happening this week for middle and high school students! Each day will have a different theme.

Monday – Santa hat day
Tuesday – Winter white
Wednesday – Ugly sweater day
Thursday – Red + white day
Friday – Pajama day

Prizes will be awarded each day, so wear your best Christmas attire!

High school students only: reminder to bring something to share on Friday for the potluck. Drop off food Friday morning in Mr. Coulter’s room.

Last week, our school community enjoyed two meaningful Christmas highlights: the annual Christmas Market and the MS/HS Christmas Concert. From students practicing generosity through gift-giving to worship-filled music that pointed us to Christ, it was a beautiful reminder of the heart of the season at MRCS.
