The MRCS community is unstoppable! This month has truly been a blessing to see how God moves in our community. From bottle drives, bake sales, to loom bracelets, it is inspiring to see how our students have taken up the challenge to raise funds for our Walkathon. Currently, we have raised over $48,000 for our third floor initiative and for our community – Friends in Need Food Bank. We are so close to our goal – and hope to surpass it! Let’s keep going!
This is the last Walkathon Weekend Challenge before our Walkathon event where you can be entered into a draw to win prizes.
For the final weekend, we would like to challenge you to raise $50! For every $50 raised, your name will be entered into a draw for a $50 Wildplay gift card. The more you raise, the more entries you will have. For example, if you raise $100 between today and end of day Sunday, your name will be entered twice into a draw for the gift card. We will make the draw and announce the winner on Monday, May 26!
Remember to send pictures of fundraising through creative means, like selling freezies, car washes, bake sales, etc., to be entered for a draw for a $25 Cineplex gift card. To be considered, please email a photo and a description of how you are fundraising to our events coordinator, Jessica Marando (). The name will be drawn on Walkathon Day (May 30).
The Raisely donation page will remain open until June 8.
Bonus: We are currently on track to surpass our $50,000 goal. Should this occur, there will be a bonus Milestone Motivator Challenge that will be revealed! More details coming soon.
