We are grateful to share that the Lord has recently provided us with a Middle and High School Band teacher for the 2025-2026 school year, Ms. Alexis Summers. Ms. Summers is a highly qualified teacher with the following degrees and experience:
- A Bachelor of Arts in Music from Trinity Western University
- A Master of Music in Clarinet Performance from the University of Manitoba
- Experience as a Masterclass Clinician for Percussion and Woodwinds
- 15 years of experience teaching private music lessons
Middle School students will continue the band program as before. Ms. Summers will work with Mr. Davison to learn how that program is run and how instruments are selected. Please be patient as further information will be provided as available regarding instrument selection by current grade 6 students.
Mr. Davison will continue to teach music for students in Grades K-6.
We praise God for His wonderful provision in this way. Ms. Summers is very excited to join our MRCS community.
