It’s the last week of school before Christmas Break! Here is what’s happening at MRCS for the week of December 16.
1. Year-End Giving
As 2024 winds down, this is the last opportunity to donate and be eligible for a tax receipt this year. For every donation from now till the end of December, every gift up to $10,000 will be matched. We are very close to meeting our matching goal as we have raised $9450 so far! Help us meet, and exceed, the goal!

2. Hot Lunch
This week’s hot lunch will be wraps on Thursday, December 19.
Please note this is the last hot lunch before Christmas Break. The bi-weekly hot lunch program will restart on January 9, 2025 with orders for January 9 due on January 3.
Place orders for hot lunches on Munch a Lunch and purchase altogether or week by week.

We are still looking for sponsors! If you would like to sponsor a hot lunch, please use Hot Lunch Sponsorship Sign Up to sign up for a specific date. Should you wish to sponsor, we offer advertisements of your logo and website link. However, if you’re making a personal donation, there will be no advertisement but you will be issued a tax receipt.

3. Christmas Chapel/Early Dismissal
As Christmas Break nears, Christmas Chapel will be on Friday, December 20. Parents are more than welcome to attend!
MS/HS: 8:35 AM in the gym
ES: 10:45 AM in the gym
There will be an early 11:30 AM dismissal on the same day.
4. Lost and Found
Please check the lost and found rack in front of the main office for any missing items this week. All remaining items will be donated this Friday, December 20.
5. Christmas Break
MRCS will be closed for Christmas Break from December 23, 2024 to January 3, 2025.
Note that we will not be moving into the new building in January, with the exact date to be announced. Once we have a confirmed date, it will be relayed.
School will be back in session on Monday, January 6, 2025 with a full day of classes.
MRCS wishes you a restful Christmas break full of joy and togetherness with family and friends. Take a moment to reflect on the birth of Jesus, and the hope and salvation He brings.
