Dear families,
Here is what’s happening at MRCS for the week of September 9.
1. High School Day at Stillwood Camp
The high school students (grades 9-12) will be spending the day at Camp Stillwood on Tuesday, September 10. Please be at the school on time as the bus leaves at 8:45 AM. High school students and teachers will be leaving the camp at 7:45 PM and are expected to be at the school by 9:15 PM.
Reminder that the following day (Wednesday, September 11) will be a late start for HIGH SCHOOL ONLY at 9:30 AM.
2. Re-Registration for 2025/2026
Welcome back to school! This year, we wanted to start registration this month for the 2025/2026 school year. All families will be automatically pre-registered, with a non-refundable fee of $100 required to be paid by Tuesday, October 1, 2024 to hold your spot for the new school year.
Kindergarten applications for 2025/2026 are open October 15-25, 2024.
Other new applications will open in early January 2025.
Please note: after the deadline of October 1, the application fee will increase to $200.
3. New Parent Orientation
The orientation for families who have just joined the MRCS community will take place on Wednesday, September 18 at 6:30 PM. Please meet in the Drama room in the upstairs wing of the high school.
Note: Childcare for ages 3+ will be available in Ms. L’s kindergarten room.
4. Elementary Chapel
We are excited to start our first chapel of the new school year! Starting on Friday, September 13 at 8:30 AM, elementary students will meet in the gym. Parents are invited to attend.
