Middle School Open House – Invite a Friend!

Our Middle School Open House is this Thursday, November 20 from 6:30–8:00 PM. If you know a family interested in Grades 6–8 at MRCS, we encourage you to invite them to register for and attend this event. This is a great opportunity for prospective families to meet teachers, explore the program, and learn what makes our Middle School unique.

Annual General Meeting – Thursday, November 27 – 7:30 PM

A reminder that our AGM is coming up next week. Please see last week’s message on the app for full details, including meeting materials and the posting. You can also access the AGM posting here.

Christmas Market – December 11

We’re excited to host our Christmas Market again this year! This special event gives students the opportunity to purchase gifts for their families while learning about sustainable gifting and generosity. All proceeds will support the Maple Ridge & Pitt Meadows Christmas Hamper Society.

We are now accepting new or like-new donations to stock our market. Suggested items include:

  • Books, candles, mugs, home décor
  • Games, puzzles, and toys
  • Sports gear or memorabilia
  • Jewelry, accessories, or stationery
  • Gifts suitable for dads, moms, siblings, and grandparents

Please note: No clothing, unless sports-related. You can contact Jessica at if you have any further questions.

Auction Winner Parking Signs

Parking signs for our Gala Auction winners will be installed this week. Please do not park in any spaces marked for auction winners, even temporarily. These spots are reserved for the families who supported MRCS through the Legacy Gala auction. Thank you for helping us honour these commitments!

Grade 4 Amazing Race

Our Grade 4 students took over the Grand Hall for an Amazing Race–style challenge filled with teamwork, maps, and plenty of excitement!

Working in teams, students navigated through clues, problem-solved, and raced to complete each task — learning collaboration, strategy, and a little geography along the way.

We love seeing learning come alive through activities that spark curiosity and connection!

Legacy Gala
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Legacy Gala. It was a beautiful evening of community, laughter, and celebration as we reflected on God’s goodness and faithfulness to MRCS through the years.

From student performances to meaningful conversations around the tables, the night reminded us of the incredible story God is writing in and through our school.

We are deeply grateful for the encouragement, generosity, and partnership of our MRCS community. Thank you for coming alongside us as we continue to grow, dream, and build for the future together.
God has been good — and He will continue to be good.

We are excited for what lies ahead.

If you couldn’t make it, don’t worry—expect a detailed update later this week.
