Christmas Market – December 11

We’re excited to host our Christmas Market again this year! This special event gives students the opportunity to purchase gifts for their families while learning about sustainable gifting and generosity. All proceeds will support the Maple Ridge & Pitt Meadows Christmas Hamper Society.

We are now accepting new or like-new donations to stock our market. Suggested items include:

  • Books, candles, mugs, home décor
  • Games, puzzles, and toys
  • Sports gear or memorabilia
  • Jewelry, accessories, or stationery
  • Gifts suitable for dads, moms, siblings, and grandparents

Please note: No clothing, unless sports-related. You can contact Jessica at if you have any further questions.

Out of School Care

We still have five full-time spaces available, along with a few drop-in spots throughout the week. The program provides a fun after-school environment where children stay active and engaged while developing social skills and creativity.

MRCS Community Cookbook – Share Your Family Recipes!

We’re excited to launch our school-wide cookbook project — a celebration of community, creativity, and connection!

Recipe forms (“My Favourite Recipe”) and a project letter are being sent home through classrooms this week. We encourage every family to contribute a recipe that’s meaningful to you — a favourite meal, cultural dish, or family tradition.

Our Deep Hope:
“As each member of our school community contributes a recipe, a memory, or a prayer to our shared cookbook, we come to see ourselves as co-authors in God’s unfolding story — a story of creativity, hospitality, restoration, and grace.”

Thank you for helping make this a beautiful reflection of our MRCS family.

— Mrs. Sheila Puchalski & Ms. Heather Brown
