Community Staff Announcement

Dear MRCS Community,

It is with deep gratitude and warm hearts that we share that Mr. Davison will be retiring at the end of this school year.

Mr. Davison first joined Maple Ridge Christian School in 1991, and, over the past three decades, has faithfully and joyfully poured his gift and passion for music into this community. He has worn many hats during his time at MRCS not just as a music teacher and chapel coordinator, but he also served as vice principal and often would lend a hand with facilities when needed. Through it all, his love for students, commitment to sharing the truth of Scripture, and genuine care for people have left a lasting mark.

Generations of students have been blessed by his passion for music, from classroom lessons filled with laughter and song to the unforgettable Christmas concerts that have become a cherished part of MRCS tradition. As we look forward to celebrating one final concert season with him this year, we are filled with appreciation for the legacy he leaves behind.

We wanted to share this news early as we begin the process of searching for a new K-6 Music Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. We know that stepping into this role means carrying forward a rich tradition of music education that has inspired countless young hearts.

Please join us in expressing our gratitude to Mr. Davison over the coming months as we prepare to celebrate his remarkable career and the impact he has made on our school community.
