Every gift, large or small, makes a meaningful difference in helping us continue empowering faith, learning, and community at MRCS.

If you feel led to give, you can visit our Giving Tuesday page here

Christmas Market – Thursday, December 11 (K to Gr. 8)

Our annual Christmas Market is coming up soon, and we are looking forward to this special day of giving and joy for our students. Donations: We are still accepting new or like-new items until December 10. Thank you — we no longer need any additional gift wrap donations. How the Market Works:
  • The elementary gym will be transformed into a Christmas “store.”
  • Classes will shop for gifts for family members, caregivers, etc.
  • All items will be $2 each. → Please send exact change as we will not have change available.
  • All proceeds and unsold items will support the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Christmas Hamper Society.
Shopping Limits & Labels:
  • Students may purchase a limited number of gifts to ensure fairness.
  • A handout with labels will go home next Monday — please pre-fill these to help streamline checkout.
  • Gifts will be labelled, wrapped, and returned to classrooms by the end of the day.
  • Please send your child with a bag to carry their items home.
Opting Out: If you do not wish for your child to participate, please email your child’s teacher before December 11. Volunteers Needed: If you’d like to help with this heartwarming event, volunteers are needed for:
  • Dec 10 at 3:00 PM – Setup
  • Dec 11 from 12:00–2:45 PM – Market support
If you can help, please email Jessica at .

Last week, HS students filled the hallways with Christmas cheer as they decorated their lockers, while our Grade 6/7 scientists got hands-on with a sweet rock candy experiment in Science class.
