Building Supervision Expectations Outside of School Hours

Dear MRCS Families, We are grateful that our students feel comfortable on campus and that many of you enjoy being here beyond regular school hours. Our building is a special place, and we love that it feels like a second home for so many. At the same time, we need to reinforce some important supervision expectations to ensure student safety and proper care of our spaces. Student Led-Conferences (K-8)

Student-Led Conferences (SLCs) in Kindergarten through Grade 8 are a communication tool that gives you insight into your child’s learning progress through your child’s point of view. At the SLC, students share their learning progress by leading you through their learning portfolio and identifying evidence of growth. The SLCs are attended by the student, parent/guardian, and teacher(s). However, unlike our parent/teacher interviews, the teacher’s role is to facilitate the meeting and the student leads the conference. What are the goals
