Student-Led Conferences
Student-Led Conferences (SLCs) in Kindergarten through Grade 8 are a communication tool that gives you insight into your child’s learning progress through your child’s point of view. At the SLC, students share their learning progress by leading you through their learning portfolio and identifying evidence of growth. The SLCs are attended by the student, parent/guardian, and teacher(s). While the teacher will be present in the room, the SLC is led by the student. What are the goals of Student-Led Conferences?
