Implications of Breach of this Agreement
You acknowledge and understand that the School desires reconciliation and restoration to relationships wherever possible and appropriate, based on the Biblical principles outlined in 1 Corinthians 6:1-8, Matthew 5:23-24, Matthew 18:15-20, among others. The School recognizes that we all fall short of Biblical standards. Therefore, except for cases of a serious failure to comply with this Agreement or a less serious failure to comply where you do not show evidence for a desire for reconciliation and restoration with the School in accordance with this section, the School will follow the steps outlined below:
1. Initial Dialogue
- The School will reach out to you to address the concern in a spirit of understanding and grace.
- A meeting will be scheduled to discuss the specific areas of concern, with the aim of restoring alignment with the School’s mission and values and the Foundational Documents.
2. Mutual Restoration Plan
- A restoration plan with actionable outcomes will be created to guide steps for restoring commitment to this Agreement. This may include specific actions, timelines, or additional support from the School.
3. Revisiting of Mutual Restoration Plan
- After 30 days, you and the School will discuss the Mutual Restoration Plan to determine whether it is working or if further adjustments to the Mutual Restoration Plan may be needed. This process will be repeated until the School confirms full realignment and recommitment with this Agreement.
If the School determines, at any time, that there has been a serious failure to comply with this Agreement or a less serious failure to comply with this Agreement without you evidencing a desire for reconciliation and restoration with the School in accordance with this section, the School reserves the right to impose immediate termination of your family’s relationship with the School, including your child(ren)’s enrolment at the School.
In all cases where the School discerns and determines the appropriate consequences for your failure to comply with this Agreement, the School will act in good faith, reasonably, and with clear communication to you after consideration of the relevant circumstances and the appropriate consequences.
Annual Review and Renewal
This Agreement is to be reviewed and signed annually as part of the annual enrollment process. By doing so, you affirm your commitment to the Foundational Documents, the mission and the shared goals of the School. This Agreement must be completed in full, signed, dated before your child(ren) will be permitted to be enroled in the School for the 2025-26 school year.
Sincerely,
MAPLE RIDGE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
