1. Kindergarten to Grade 8 Student-Led Conferences
All students from K-grade 8 are working with their teachers to prepare a Student-Led Conference. This is a meaningful opportunity for our students to communicate regarding their personal growth and share a portfolio of learning to their parent(s)/guardian(s).
 
The sessions are as follows:
  • Thursday, March 2 from 10 AM-7 PM
  • Friday, March 3 from 8 AM-2 PM

Scroll through the headers at the top to find your child’s teacher/class before booking. 
 
Please note:
  • On March 2 and 3 there will be no regular classes for K- Grade 8
  • Grades 9-12 are in session as per usual
 
2. February Hot Lunch Order Fundraiser
We raised $1350!! Thank you to every member of our school community who helped fundraise for new classrooms and the much needed gym. Also a big thanks to our hot lunch parent volunteers and our February hot lunch sponsor: True Light Building and Development 
 
We are looking for a small business or family to sponsor our March Hot Lunch. If you are interested or would like to know more about sponsorship, please contact Alyson Westra ().
 
3. Save the Date!
Our annual spring Gala and Auction event will be on the evening of Saturday, May 6 at Meadow Gardens Golf Club in Pitt Meadows. We are excited to come together as a community to celebrate how God continues to provide life-changing opportunities through our school. 
 
4. International Homestay Host Families

5. MRCS Alumni Facebook Page
We invite Maple Ridge Christian School and/or Haney-Pitt Meadows Christian School student and staff alumni to join our newly developed alumni Facebook group to reconnect and stay updated on current activities. 
 
 
6. MRCS App – Class Group Subscription
By default, all users of the MRCS app are subscribed to receive general school announcements. Occasionally, grade-specific messages are sent but only to those who are subscribed to the specific group. If you are not already subscribed, please follow these instructions to receive news about a specific grade:
 
  1. In the app, tap Groups in the bottom left corner.
  2. Tap the gear icon in the top right corner.
  3. Swipe right to subscribe to your child(ren)’s grade.
  4. Now when you are in the app, you can tap Groups to view grade-specific messages.
