3. Mamma Mia Tickets On Sale
Tickets are now on sale for the MRCS drama production of Mamma Mia, running Wednesday, May 10 to Saturday May 13, 2023 at 7:30 PM. Come see our talented high school students act, dance, and sing at Theatre in the Country in Langley. All ticket purchases will be completed through their website.
4. Grad Capstone Presentations
Our MRCS Graduates of 2023 are starting to prepare for all things grad-related! One of the most important components of our graduate’s year is the Graduation Capstone presentations.
This is a wonderful evening where our graduates celebrate and share their learning journeys in a very personal and meaningful way. If you know an MRCS student who is graduating this year, we encourage you to reach out to that student to ask if you can support him or her by attending the capstone presentation.
This is a public event and will be the evening of Thursday, April 27 from 6-8:30 PM at the school. There will be four capstone presentations presented each half hour. Come and celebrate the learning and growth of our graduates with us.
5. English Lessons for Ukrainian Refugees
Our student volunteer team, MRCS Helping Ukraine, is offering free English lessons over a cup of tea to any Ukrainian refugees wanting to attend. They have both Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking volunteers helping to lead these sessions.
The group meets Thursdays from 3:15-5:00 PM at Maple Ridge Christian School. The group is looking for parent volunteers to help facilitate the sessions. Knowledge of Ukrainian and Russian is not required to be the parent facilitator.

Volunteers can sign up for one session or as many as they wish. All parent volunteers must have fully completed the MRCS volunteer paperwork, including a criminal record check. This info can be found under Forms and Handbooks on the Parent Portal or on the MRCS app.
6. Prayer Walk
Please join us on Wednesday, May 3 at 8:30 AM for a prayer walk around the property to surround the construction project and all those involved in prayer. Reach out to Andrea Davies if you have any questions .
