Dear Grade 8 Parents,
This is a notice regarding Grade 9 Day on Friday, May 12, 2023. Maple Ridge Christian School sets aside this day as an opportunity for incoming Grade 8 students to experience a day in the life of an MRCS Grade 9 student.
We see great value in this day as an opportunity to relieve the anxiety of Grade 8 students around what high school is like and set them up for a successful start to their high school experience. On Friday, May 12, Grade 8 students will start the day by checking in for attendance in the Grade 8 portable with Madame Silva, and they will then make their way to the high school chapel. They will move on to attend classes with the high school teachers for the remainder of the day.
