The Board is excited to share these next steps with you and appreciates your involvement in our school community.

New Daily Health Assessment

Earlier this month, the BCCDC refined the list of symptoms that prevent students from attending school. This revised list is reduced and states that students and staff must stay home if they have:

  • Fever (at or over 37.5 degrees)
  • Chills
  • New cough or worsening of chronic cough
  • Loss of sense of smell or taste
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Travelled outside of the country within the last 14 days
  • Had contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19

If your child does not display any of the above symptoms, s/he is able to attend class.
