Pick-up / Drop-off Reminders

It was wonderful seeing all of our MRCS families coming and going last week! As we get into the routine of our staggered pick-up and drop-off schedule, we are asking for your help and mindfulness of these items:

  • Keep the pick-up/drop-off lane moving smoothly: If you need to get out of your vehicle to open the doors/trunk, please park in one of the parking spaces. Students being dropped off or picked up in the lane must be able to enter/exit the vehicle without assistance.
  • Early bird drop offs: The first drop-off window starts at 8:15 AM when MRCS staff members are posted around the school grounds to provide supervision. To ensure the safety of your child(ren), please drop off your child(ren) during the supervised timeframe (8:15-8:30 AM).
  • Pedestrians in the parking lot: Parents/students in the parking lot must use the crosswalk and then proceed along the sidewalks to your destination on the school grounds.

Thank You, Hot Lunch Supporters!

We are sending a big thank you to our Hot Lunch Crew and all of the MRCS families that supported the hot lunch program last year! Because of your donations (100% of hot lunch order funds went directly to MRCS), we were able to buy upgraded sinks that are in the process of being installed throughout the school!

Hot Lunch Refunds

If you prepaid for hot lunch orders, you can either donate your prepayment to the school or request a refund. Please reach out to Stephanie Carroll at to indicate what option you would like to take. Thank you!

Signing Out Students During the School Day

If a student needs to leave during the school day, a parent or guardian is still required to sign out the student at the front office. Please remember to wear a mask when entering the school building. If you have any questions, you can contact the school office at 604.465.4442 or
