Primary Teaching Team
We are pleased to announce this K-3 teaching team for the 2021-22 school year:
Mrs. Mary Owen will be teaching a kindergarten class.
Mrs. Christine Lozinski will be teaching a kindergarten class.
Mrs. Angela Brompton and Mrs. Donna Riley will be co-teaching the Grade 1 class.
Mrs. Lori Born and Mrs. Jacqueline Fouad will be co-teaching a Grade 2/3 class.
Mrs. Grace Newbigging will be teaching a Grade 2/3 class.
No School Friday and Monday
Please note that there is no school this Friday (May 21) due to Staff Appreciation Day. There is also no school on Monday (May 24) because of the Victoria Day holiday. We hope you all have a wonderful extra-long weekend!

This new section of The Buzz will keep you up to date on our capital campaign and building project.
Over the past couple of weeks, we have announced increasing fundraising totals for The Adventure Begins event. And guess what? We get to do it one more time! The FINAL total for this year’s dinner and auction is over $66,000!
If you, or someone you know, would like to make a donation towards the new classroom and high school gymnasium building project, this is where you can go to:

Summer Camp Registration is Open
If you would like to send your child(ren) to our MRCS Summer Camp, registration is now open! The camp runs over two weeks (July 12-23) and features daily “Around the World” themes. Children can participate for one or both weeks to experience a new adventure every day.
Space is limited due to health and safety protocols, so please reserve your space as soon as possible.

Meeting & Greeting New Kindergarten Families
Mrs. Lozinski and Mrs. Owen said hello to next year’s kindergarten families and handed out bags filled with goodies—including a book that shows all of the faces and spaces the kindergarten students will see around the school!
