Online Evening Event Recap
We had no idea in naming the event “The Adventure Begins” how much of an adventure it would be! There were definitely some hiccups during Saturday’s evening event, but we believe that the heart of our school and Jesus’ presence here came across to the 158 people watching from home!
We have a video recording that kicked in a bit late, so the beginning games portion didn’t make it into the video. To catch you up, here are the games, participants, and the winners:
Who Can Dunk it Better: A Flokstra or an O’Dell?
- Participants: Mr. Flokstra, Jill O’Dell, Scott O’Dell
- Winners: Jill (first round), Scott (second round)
Are You Cooler than a Middle Schooler?
- Participants: Mr. Flokstra, Mrs. Wilson, Mr. Unger (Quiz masters: Gavin and Simon representing the Middle School Leadership Team)
- Winner: Mr. Flokstra
Who Can Find it Faster: A Lozinski or a Flokstra?
- Participants: Mr. Flokstra, Mrs. Lozinski, Quinn, Kasey
- Winners: Tie
You can now pick up the video recording to see student testimonies by Noah and Taeryn, a message and songs by Brian Doersken, a preview of Footloose, and the live auction: Watch the Video Recording »
Although some of these moments were only seen by those watching live on Saturday night, we have also prepared a meme recap of the evening:
