The Buzz April 12, 2021

Please take note of these two events happening this week:

Town Hall Meeting

When: Wednesday, April 14 from 7:30-8:30 PM

Where: Join the Zoom Meeting here:
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81509042597?pwd=STNKQUhlNFVGSEFZbVVWMjhpcWhBUT09
Meeting ID: 815 0904 2597
Passcode: 6BF0u2

Why: Because this building project affects your child! More classrooms and a high school gym will let us better serve our current MRCS students and will make room for us to welcome future families. Getting a shovel in the ground and completing this building project is our top priority and we’d like you to be a part of it.

Online Dinner & Auction

When: It’s all happening now (from April 10-24)!

Where: Go to: mrcs.ca/adventure

What: On The Adventure Begins Dinner & Auction page, you will find:

  • The Zoom link for our evening event (on April 24)
  • The order form for a 3-course meal from Capri Italian Bakery + Bistro (order by this Thursday, April 15)
  • Our online silent auction (from April 10-24)
  • The Buy-a-School Gift Guide

Why: Because with enough funding, we can improve your child’s educational environment! Please take the opportunity to mention our need to family, friends, or businesses that could join with us to build a school right here in our own backyard. Contributing to this project not only benefits our current students, but it will leave a legacy for generations of children to come.

Up, up, and away!

No matter what age, it’s always fun to head outside to fly a kite! Mrs. Newbigging’s class made their own kites and helped them take flight from our school field.
